Transitioning

September days are here, With summer’s best of weather, And autumn’s best of cheer.

– Helen Hunt Jackson

Although September is not quite here, the transition to fall fashion has begun. We put away the short shorts, tank tops and trade in our summer flats for our winter boots. Luckily, living in Miami we don’t get to enjoy the cold fall/winter days as others would. The past few years it hasn’t started to feel like fall/winter until October-November. Oh the joy! But never the less, I still shop for winter. As the colors change on the leaves, so do the colors in my closet. From the bright and the white comes the neutrals and the black. This winter I see myself getting into a lot of olive green, burnt reds and of course the ever so sexy BLACK! I have  begun to purchase long coats and vest so that once the cool weather makes it’s way down to the tip of Florida, I can be prepared. And because I’m such a smart shopper, I started once all of last years winter clothes went on sale 🙂 . In inspiration of what is soon to come, I decided to give you a glimpse of what my fall/winter will look like.
