Just like history, fashion always repeats itself. On that note, let’s welcome back the flare pant to 2016! *pops champagne* The flare pant is claiming all rights over style pants this season and is definitely a trend that will be around all year long. One thing I love about flare pants is they look good on ALL bodies! There are so many different variations and styles everyone is bound to find the perfect pair. I think the most daring idea of flare pants is figuring out how to style them. Personally, I feel they look best with short tops like crop tops, waist length jackets, stripped tees, blazers, cardigans and off the shoulder tops. What is also great about flare pant is they are so versatile you can go from the festival to the office and still have a fashionable look and who doesn’t love the towering -long leg effect is gives you! I’ll take that any day of the week!

I teams up with 3 others bloggers, Sahily of Pretty in Pigment , Deidre of Frugal Flirty & Fab and Kirstin of Kirstin Marie to showcase different styles to the flare pant. For me I wanted to keep this look very 70’s and old school. So I stuck to black as I always do. Black flare pant, black crop top and a waist length vintage denim jacket just to tie in that old school feel. Of course I had to bring the bandana out too play! The bandana has been around forever and has gracefully made a comeback during early spring. I’m not really sure if it belongs to a specific era but for this look it WORKED!
