As summer comes to an end, so do the summer trends. The whites and floral collect dust in our closets while we dust off the dark pieces and the plaid. Although we never truly get to experience fall/winter here in Miami, I am looking forward to transforming my wardrobe. I’m looking forward to trying new things like fringe and suede maybe even some thigh high boots. You never know 🙂 One good thing about fall/winter is being able to layer different pieces and revamping some old looks, like these jeans. For me jeans are not a seasonal garment, I’m sure most would agree. So for fall I may try this look again maybe with a black or olive bomber. Maybe even go for more of a tom-boy feel, an oversize jacket, some sneaker and a beanie. This vest would look great with some black leather pants, a grey long sleeve, and some winter boots. Like I told you before, I love buying pieces that allow me to create more than one look and although the seasons are changing and fall/winter trends are making a grand entrance, clothing is transferable – transfer those summer pieces into fall pieces and get creative.
