Happy Monday ladies! How many of you have a classic white shirt in your closet? You know, the one you wear only to work because you’re not sure how to style it with other outfits. Trust me, I know the struggle. I’m so use to wearing my white shirts to work with a pair of slacks, maybe a skirt. I mostly keep it for professional purposes. But today, I’m here to tell you there are so many different ways to wear a white shirt. As someone who likes to shop smart and purchase garments that I can wear multiple ways, I love the versatility of a white shirt.
I’ve patterned with Simply Be to show you just how versatile a white shirt can be. And not just any white shirt but their Sleeve Shirt. This shirt is as classic as they come and features an on-trend tie cuff for a subtle fashion detail. So today, I’m going to show you 4 ways to style your favorite white shirt, so you can get as many uses out of it as possible. Let’s jump right into it.
This look is definitely my favorite. I wanted to create a sexy look with a class white shirt. Something along the lines of super sexy office wear. So I decided to pair it with this Grazia Lace Pencil Skirt and let a black lacey bra peek through. Instead of just buttoning the shirt down like normal, I tied it into a center knot and also made sure I wasn’t showing too much skin. A little sexy and a little classy perfect for a date night.
This look reminds me of something I would wear to a blogger event. I paired the sleeve shirt with Stripe viscose tapered leg pants and a leather jacket. Comfy, stylish and chic. Not only would I wear this look to an event, it’s also perfect for work or any professional setting. Leather jacket optional.
This looks is completely out of the norm for me. I have never tried to pair a shirt with a dress and always felt a little iffy about the idea. But to push myself out of the box, I decided to give it a try. I paired this sleeve shirt with the Studio 8 Iris Dress. To start I adore this dress! The cut is so chic and classy and I love polka dots. And in all honestly, I’m kind of digging this look. Super girly, super classy and elegant. Every girl needs an outfit like this in her wardrobe.
This is my casual take on the classic white shirt. We all know you can dress up a white shirt but some of us like myself are not use to dressing them down. So I paired this top with these cute Evie Badge Straight Leg Jeans and a red heel for a pop of color. These jeans are perfect, the patch work really makes this a fun casual outfit. I definitely see myself working this to brunch or out on the town, even on casual jean day at work.
Now that you have all these outfits featuring the classic white Sleeve Shirt, how do you plan on getting the most wear from your white shirt?
